Description:

Incedo is hiring a Senior Data Scientist / Modeling Specialist to work on advanced predictive analytics and machine learning solutions for global clients across industries including telecom, banking, wealth management, product engineering, and life sciences.

As part of Incedo’s Data Science practice, you will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying predictive models and ML algorithms to solve critical business problems. You will collaborate with data engineers, scientists, and business analysts to align technical solutions with business goals. This role also offers the opportunity to mentor junior data scientists and present key insights to business stakeholders.

The position is ideal for professionals with strong programming skills, hands-on ML experience, and the ability to deliver scalable, data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build, train, and deploy machine learning algorithms for business decision support.
• Conduct extensive data analysis and statistical modeling using advanced tools.
• Work on supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning projects.
• Perform data wrangling, cleaning, and preprocessing using Python, R, or SQL.
• Apply statistical methods (e.g., regression, time-series analysis, hypothesis testing).
• Use deep learning tools such as TensorFlow or Keras for advanced modeling.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and quality.
• Present findings and recommendations to business stakeholders in a structured way.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior data science team members.

Requirements:

• Strong foundation in statistical analysis and data modeling.
• Hands-on experience with Python or R for data handling and model building.
• Knowledge of big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Hive.
• Strong communication skills to translate technical results into business insights.
• Ability to provide leadership and team guidance in data science projects.
